Clever Anzacs

Use the following link to find out some of the ways the Anzacs deceived and trick the Turks.

• Left dummies behind to make it seem like they were still there
• Used water to add weight to string attached to the guns, once it was heavy enough it would pull it's trigger
• Made dummy horses too
• Disguised a ship so that it looked like a battle ship so it looked like more soldiers were arriving
• Swam further down the coastline to light flares to confuse them about were they actually were
• Used targets to get the Turks to fire at instead of the shooter
• Used periscopes to take aim at the Turks
