Christchurch is also hosting
the opening event for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. This spectacular
light and music display will feature some of New Zealand's finest
entertainers including Hayley Westenra, Ginny Blackmore
and Sol3 Mio and cricketing greats Sir Richard Hadlee, Stephen Fleming
and New Zealand Captain Brendon McCullum.

And the
cricketing action will continue with the Fanzone situated at Victoria
Square from 13-23 February. A hub for cricket fans of all ages, it will
also be the starting point for the Fantrail
