Cross Curricular Movers & Shaker Activities

• Design and make a container to hold items for a First Aide Kit.

• Write and perform a song or jingle to remind people what to do to prepare for a Natural Disaster.

• Design and create a way of collecting fresh water during a Natural Disaster.

• Create a visual presentation to demonstrate the school's emergency plan.

• Research the amount of water needed per person per day.  Calculate how much water your family would need for 3 days.  Calculate how much water our class would need for 3 days.

• Research the height of tsunamis from around the world.  Graph the results.

• Create and illustrate new product that will help keep people safe in a Natural Disaster.
